  BitC is a unique movement in the UK of 700 member companies, with a further 1600 participating in programmes and campaigns. It operates through a network of 98 local business-led partnerships, as well as working with 45 global partners. Its purpose is to inspire, challenge, engage and support business in continually improving its positive impact on society. It is the largest and longest-established organisation of its kind - an independent business-led charity with over 20 years experience.

Cambridgeshire ACRE
  Cambridgeshire ACRE (Action with Communities in Rural England) is the Rural Community Council for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. A registered charity, it is responsible for the delivery of a wide range of advice, information and support services to local communities. It has several hundred members, including parish councils, village hall committees and other community groups, plus some individuals.
Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce
  Cambridgeshire Chambers have recently launched four local Chambers in Cambridge, Fenland, Huntingdonshire and Peterborough - all under the umbrella of the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce. These are primarily lobbying bodies and provide an opportunity for you to raise, and get something done about, local issues which are affecting your business.

  Connexions is the information, advice, and guidance service for all 13-19 year olds in the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough areas.
East of England International
  East of England International is the official international business support agency for the six counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. It is funded by the UK Government, the East of England Development Agency, local government and a wide range of business partners. It is able to provide you with a totally free, professional and confidential service.
East Cambs & Fenland Primary Care Trust
  The role of the PCT encompasses commissioning and improving primary care services for people registered with local GPs. In addition to this, the PCT works with the District Councils and other partners to improve health by addressing the social, economic and health needs of the residents living within the PCT area.
Enterprise Fenland
  Enterprise Fenland provides free one-to-one business counseling and a range of free workshops specially designed for start up businesses. Workshops and training courses on all aspects of running a small business, including Bookkeeping, Business Planning, Marketing and Selling are held regularly as well as seminars to assist with Self Assessment Tax and VAT.
Export East of England
  Export East of England, part of UK Trade & Investment, brings together the expertise of the regions’ Business Links and provides the information and practical support to help businesses across the East of England trade internationally.
Federation of Small Businesses
  The Federation of Small Businesses is the largest direct member business organisation in the UK, with over 190,000 members representing 1.3 million people. It exists to promote and protect the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms.
Fenland District Council
  FDC provides a broad range of local services to improve quality of life in and around the Cambridgeshire market towns of Chatteris, March, Whittlesey and Wisbech.
Gateway2innovate
  Access to specialist advice for your company or product. It is funded by the East of England Development Agency and is part of their response to the Government's Innovation Review, published in December 2003 to try to stimulate innovation in the UK. Established in May 2004, it is a joint project run between the 6 Business Links in the eastern region and St John's Innovation Centre in Cambridge. The project runs until December 2006.
Innovation East
  Innovation East is a regional innovation and technology transfer service for the East of England, with offices at the St John's Innovation Centre in Cambridge, the Hertfordshire Business Incubation Centre in Stevenage and at the Norfolk Network in Norwich. The focus is the promotion of innovation and the transfer of innovative technologies, regionally, nationally and globally.

Manufacturing Advisory Service in the East of England
  The Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) in the East of England is a DTI service aimed solely at manufacturing businesses in the region. For the first time all the support services available for manufacturers are now available under one roof. It is delivered by the Regional Centre for Manufacturing Excellence, run by a consortium of Cranfield University and the Essex Development & Regeneration Agency, ExDRA (previously the AMT Centre), supported by Cambridge University's Institute for Manufacturing.

  The intention is to help more than 27,000 adults in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough improve their literacy, language and numeracy. As an important contribution to the community, it gives a local and relevant identity to the Government's Skills for Life programme.
