Fenland Business Forum is a partnership between Fenland businesses, Fenland business service providers and Fenland District Council. It creates the opportunity for open dialogue between all parties and the platform to work together for the benefit of local commerce. Where is Fenland?

Fenland enjoys a diverse business community with many long-established locally founded firms in all sectors. In recent years it has attracted the attention of international companies seeking a location because of the comparatively cheaper costs of land, property and labour than other areas of the UK.
Fenland Business Forum aims to:
bullet promote Fenland as a good business location in which to invest
bullet encourage all who work in Fenland to provide high quality of service and to be ambassadors for the District
bullet maintain an environment where local business, Fenland District Council and other organisations can work in partnership to increase the prosperity of Fenland
bullet encourage all local businesses and organisations to join and contribute to the Fenland Business Forum
The Forum will achieve this by:
bullet encouraging collaboration between private and public sectors and also among businesses themselves
bullet enabling members of the business community to come together for networking and support
bullet providing, in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce, an authoritative voice for the business community and the District Council to lobby on Fenland's behalf
bullet acting as a consultative body providing dialogue between the business community and the District Council
The Forum and the FSP

A Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) is a non-statutory, multi-agency body, which matches local authority boundaries and aims to bring together at a local level the different parts of the public, private, community and voluntary sectors.

The Fenland Strategic Partnership (FSP) is tackling many different issues requiring a range of responses from different bodies. Local partners working through the FSP will be expected to take many of the major decisions about priorities for the local area. The Fenland Business Forum contributes to the FSP from a business perspective in order to further the opportunities for a thriving commercial community.
